Chickpeas

Chickpeas from the legume family; Its fruits are rich in starchy and nitrogenous substances. Its leaves are 5 – 15 mm in size and its buds can grow up to 30 mm. It grows only one year, propagates by seed and is one of the easiest plants to grow. It is grown in barren areas. It withstands water scarcity well and does not care much about soil quality. If the weather is not warm enough, the revenue will be bad. Chickpea is one of the richest legumes in terms of protein. It contains iron, zinc, magnesium, phosphorus and calcium.
